What is Integrative Health?

Mental health is about more than treating symptoms.

At The Cove Integrative Health, we believe the best psychiatric care looks at the whole person, not just a diagnosis.

Our goal is to understand why you're feeling the way you do so we can create a treatment plan that is truly personalized to you.

What does that mean for your care?

After a comprehensive evaluation of your symptoms and a conversation about what is important to you, we will discuss possible treatment options. This may include:

  • Thoughtful medication recommendations

  • Lifestyle and wellness recommendations

  • Review of current medications and medical conditions that may affect mood or cognition

  • Targeted laboratory testing, including evaluation for concerns such as:

    • vitamin deficiencies

    • iron deficiency

    • thyroid disorders

    • hormone-related changes

  • Pharmacogenetic (GeneSight®) testing to help guide medication selection

  • Coordination with your primary care provider and other specialists to ensure your care is connected and comprehensive

Working Together

Integrative mental health doesn't mean replacing traditional psychiatric care—it means enhancing it.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I provide evidence-based psychiatric evaluations and medication management while collaborating with your primary care provider, therapist, OB/GYN, endocrinologist, neurologist, pediatrician, or other specialists, as appropriate.

When we work together as a team, you receive more complete, coordinated care.
